About Us

Chimera Entertainment is an independent game development studio based in Germany. We create high-quality games through strong collaboration, clear ownership, and thoughtful production processes.

Our teams combine creative ambition with pragmatic execution. We value people who communicate openly, think in systems, take responsibility for their work, and help the team make better decisions.

To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a 3D Artist Generalist - Modelling & Texturing who enjoys creating game-ready assets and working across a variety of visual production tasks.

Your role:

As a 3D Artist Generalist, you will create and iterate on 3D assets for our game projects. Your focus will be on modelling and texturing, with a mix of characters, props, and other production assets depending on project needs.

You will work onsite from our Cebu office and support our Munich team as part of a distributed art setup.

We are looking for someone who can work reliably within an existing art direction, create clean and usable assets, and collaborate closely with other artists and disciplines. You do not need to be a specialist in only one narrow area - we are looking for a generalist mindset and a strong production attitude.

You should be comfortable collaborating sharing work in progress, receiving feedback, and communicating clearly about status, questions, and dependencies.

This position is offered on a contractor basis and is planned for an initial project duration of approximately 1–2 years.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create low-poly 3D assets in Blender: props, environment/architectural pieces, and characters.

  • Work on modelling and texturing tasks from blockout to final implementation-ready assets.

  • Follow existing art direction, style guides, and production requirements.

  • Deliver clean, game-ready assets with proper topology, scale, and readability.

  • Iterate based on feedback from art direction, design, and production.

  • Prepare assets for use in Unity or for further implementation by the team.

  • Support the art team with a variety of 3D production tasks.

  • Collaborate reliably with the Cebu and Munich teams, sharing WIP and communicating status

Your profile:

  • Strong experience with Blender for low-poly game asset creation (props, environments, characters)

  • Confident use of Photoshop for texturing (no time to train basics).

  • Diverse portfolio showing props and characters (environments are a plus).

  • Clean topology with an understanding of edge flow and animatability.

  • Good aesthetic sense for stylised art, colour harmony, and shapes.

  • Very good written and spoken English for daily collaboration with the Munich team.

  • Proactive, open, and communicative working style.

  • Availability from around June 2026 or as soon as possible.

Nice to have:

  • Experience integrating your own assets in Unity.

  • Experience with stylised/hand-painted textures and Substance Painter.

  • Basic understanding of character rigging.

  • Familiarity with AI 3D tools (e.g. Rodin, Meshy).

  • Shipped game experience (portfolio quality is more important than credits).

Sounds like you?

We are very much looking forward to your application. Please apply with your current CV and a link to your portfolio (for example GitHub, Artstation, or your personal website), so we can get a good impression of your previous projects.
