Mandatory Internship in Art or Programming (Pflichtpraktikum)

You’re currently studying, and your degree requires a mandatory internship? We offer Pflichtpraktika in two areas:

• Art (2D / 3D / UI, depending on your focus

• Game Development (Programming)

You’ll be part of an active production setup and work alongside experienced developers and artists. This is not a passive internship — you’ll contribute to real projects and learn how things actually get shipped.

Game Development

• Support implementation of gameplay features and systems
• Work with existing codebases and tools
• Collaborate closely with design and art

Art

• Create and iterate on assets (2D, 3D, UI depending on team)
• Work within established pipelines and art direction
• Support integration of assets into the game

• Mandatory internship required by your university (Pflichtpraktikum)
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Availability: at least 5 months (shorter internships are not possible)
• Based in Munich (on-site) (remote work is not possible)
• Currently enrolled student (relevant field preferred)

• Clear interest in game development or game art
• First practical experience (university projects, portfolio, GitHub, etc.)
• Willingness to learn and take feedback
• Reliable and structured way of working
• Interest in using AI as a tool to improve workflows and outputs — open to experimenting and learning

• Flat structure and direct collaboration — no heavy hierarchies
